Dissonance

Shot in Amsterdam in February 2025, Dissonance explores the body language of two lovers through intimate, close-up imagery paired with a soundscape created from homemade sounds—bubbles blown into water, objects knocked together, and other tactile recordings. These sounds both mirror the movements onscreen and introduce moments of dissonance, creating a tension between the expected and unexpected. By keeping the viewer in a state of surprise, the film invites a shifting perception of intimacy and sensation. Dissonance was selected for Barcelona’s Erotic Film Festival 2025, Amsterdam’s Porn Film Festival 2026, and PFF Vienna 2026.
